At Newman Family Dental Center, we strive to protect the health of our staff and patients. Cleanliness is critical to our office and we make sure we take steps every day, and between each patient visit to keep the treatment space clean, as well as the tools used and it’s surfaces sanitized.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. We have adjusted our procedures to follow all of the enhanced infection control guidelines for dental offices, as recommended by American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
- We have state of the art sterilization equipment for our instruments, and use hospital-grade disinfectants on all surfaces.
- Our doctors and staff members use the highest level of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) available.
- All air circulated throughout our office passes through a UV light filtration system for disinfection. We also have extra self-standing air filtration units throughout the office.
A Request to Our Patients
We do request of you, if you have recently felt symptoms of an illness, have a child or someone you live with who has caught an illness which they are still expressing symptoms from, please let us know. It is always important to us to keep illness out of the office and part of that is the help and information our patients give to us. If you are feeling suddenly ill, we will always make efforts to make your next appointment convenient once you’re healthy.
