Early Care - begin gum care after each feeding by gently wiping the baby's gums with a soft, damp wash cloth or gauze pad. Use a soft-bristle toothbrush when teeth start to appear.
Teething - the discomfort of new teeth can be reduced by lightly rubbing the baby's gums with a clean finger or gauze pad. A cool teething ring can also help to cool those tender gums. Please contact us if your babies teething is keeping you up at night.
Bottle Mouth - this condition, which can lead to cavities, is caused by constant nursing on milk, formula, or sugary juices before bedtime. Prevent this condition by giving your baby a safe pacifier or a bottle of plain water at bedtime or nap time.
